Research Overview
Our information Technology Ethics and Accessibility (iTEA) Lab explores and addresses emerging ethics and accessibility challenges of information technologies, particularly software and AI systems.
We currently focus on:
(1) Resolving fairness, privacy, and security issues in generative AI through technical, educational, and policy interventions;
(2) Designing accessible software and assistive technologies for people with disabilities; and
(3) Teaching AI ethics, cybersecurity, and computer accessibility in a wide range of contexts (K-12, college, professional training).
